Ross' Teal Lake Lodge
Resort Overview
In northwest Wisconsin in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest with a half mile of lake shoreline, Ross' Teal Lake Lodge has 18 log cabin homes on the "quiet" lake where boat speed is limited to 10 mph. Accommodations range from one-bedroom units to huge, well appointed lakeside guest houses. The Ross family has owned the resort for more than 100 years, which sits on 200 acres on a peninsula that juts into Teal Lake.
Offsite is Ross' Teal Wing Golf Club, a tough course that is frequently mentioned in the same breath as its fellow Wisconsin courses of Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run. As Golf Digest said about Teal Wing Golf Club when listing it as one of the toughest 50 courses: "Some fairways are no wider than their tee boxes. Apparently, no trees were harmed in the making of this golf course."
