Wintergreen Resort

The 11,000-acre Wintergreen Resort, only an hour Lynchburg and Charlottesville offers a plethora of activities from its perch on the eastern side of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Aquatics & Fitness Center, adjacent to the Wintergarden Spa, features an indoor pool, outdoor pool, outdoor hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, a well-equipped exercise center.

Restaurants include the Copper Mine Bistro, the more upscale Devils Grille, The Edge, Pryor's Cafeteria. Checkerbery Cabin on the slopes and Look Out Grill and Chili Depot at the tubing park.
