Resort Overview
The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club in Kapalua, Maui, provides guests with an opportunity to experience a different view of Hawaii and offers a remarkable tropical vacation. The Ritz-Carlton has undergone an extensive $180 million renovation and now features 463 remodeled guest rooms. Two bedroom Residential Suites were added. The property boasts the 17,500-square-foot Ritz-Carlton Spa with 15 treatment rooms. There's also a new fitness center and yoga/movement studio with views of the Pacific Open and direct access to D.T. Fleming Beach and a 10,000 square-foot tri-level swimming pool with a 20,000 square-foot sundeck and children's pool. The Terrace and Banyan Tree Restaurant has been redesigned. There's also a Japanese restaurant called Kai Sushi as well as the Alaloa Lounge, which has outdoor seating. For business or events, the Ritz-Carlton has 150,000 square feet of meeting space. That includes the Aloha Outdoor Pavilion, two indoor ballrooms and eight additional meeting rooms. The resort is home to the The Plantation and The Bay golf courses. The 7,263-yard, par-73 Plantation Course, which was designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore, annually hosts the PGA Tour's season-opening event for the previous year's champions. The Arnold Palmer-designed Bay Course is par 72 and plays at 6,600 yards.
