The unique beachfront landscape of the WaterColor Inn & Resort combines both the white sandy beaches of South Walton and the coastal pines that border Western Lake. The unique Florida landscape provides plenty of activities on both land and water. At the beach, guests can rent kayaks and canoes or go inland and rent a bike to take a scenic ride past the rare coastal dune lakes. Just a short distance away is Deer Lake State Park where guests can take scenic hiking trails through indigenous flora. Grayton Beach is also nearby, which has the distinction of being named the "Nation's Best Beach" on Dr. Stephen Leatherman's list of the best beaches in the country. Guests also have access to three different golf courses that will allow golfers to find a course to match their skills, whether it is the player-friendly Origins Golf Course that has a traditional links design or the more challenging Shark's Tooth Golf Club, which was designed by Greg Norman. WaterColor also features five tennis courts and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
