CordeValle, A Rosewood Resort
Resort Overview
Designed to invoke a country club feel, CordeValle, a Rosewood Resort in San Martin, Calif., is situated on 1,700 acres in a valley of rolling tree-covered hills, deep-set canyons and sprawling meadows in California's oldest wine-growing region just south of San Jose and north of the Monterrey Peninsula. CordeValle's accommodations consist of 45 rooms -- either bungalows, fairway homes or villa suites. Each room includes a king bed with goose-down comforters, original artwork, a flat-screen TV, fireplace, separate shower and garden bath. All rooms provide a view of the golf course and surrounding hillsides. The restaurants at CordeValle take full advantage of the region's fresh produce and and on-site vineyard. The Dining Room features Mediterranean cuisine, while The Grill offers relaxed dining in an outdoor setting until sunset. The Bar has American cuisine with an Italian influence. Guests can take advantage of the resort's award-winning 18-hole, par-72 golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. The course plays 7,169 yards from the tips with a 75.3 rating and a slope of 144. The course is also home to practice facility that allows golfers to work on every club in their bag.
