Atlanta: Project One Junior Golf Academy

Project One Junior Golf AcademyProject One Junior Golf Academy is an after school golf program in Atlanta, Georgia . The academy provides golf education for elementary school students; however, students can remain in the program until High School graduation.

The Academy is conducted during the school year after school on Fridays and on Saturday mornings. Students receive classroom instructions on the game of golf.

Upon successful completion of the program, the student will:

1. Demonstrate general knowledge of:
  • History of golf including Black history
  • Objective of the game of golf and different scoring procedures
  • The rules of golf
  • USGA Handicap System
  • Course Management
2.Know pre-swing and in-swing fundamentals.
3.Know the fundamentals of the short game.
4.Demonstrate the ability to perform basic golf skills and to compete in tournament
